Dry and commonly described as silken or waxy. Depending on where it’s grown, Semillon can be zesty like a Sauvignon Blanc or rich and creamy like a Chardonnay. It’s common in dessert wines and white blends.
Pairs well with white meats, particularly seafood (great with sushi!); rich and nutty cheeses; and spiced, roasted vegetables.
